Conservation Halton is a Conservation Agency run in partnership with the Government of Ontario to "protect and enhance the natural environment from lake to escarpment for present and future generations." — Mission statement
Its service area extends eastward from Burlington to Halton Hills, and the agency operates seven conservation parks open year-round. Access is permitted via a reservation system with a nominal day-use fee (or an annual pass), and parking is included.
Three of these parks have access to the Niagara Escarpment, and local developers have established crags for public recreation.
