What 4D beta means
Movement through three-dimensional space, synchronised over time.
These docs explain the product in plain language. Binding contributor, privacy, payment and other legal terms control if there is a conflict.
More than a video
Traditional beta shows a climb from one camera angle. Betabace 4D beta connects a climber's movement to the route model over time, making position, sequence and timing explorable together.
Beta is personal
- Label relevant context such as height, reach, style and notable constraints when you choose to share it.
- Describe a beta as one solution, not the authoritative solution.
- Do not label a move safe merely because it worked in one recording.
- Credit the performer, camera operator and editor when those are different people.
Multiple solutions belong together
A route page should support many beta contributions. Viewers can compare approaches that suit different bodies and climbing styles without one creator displacing another.
